Today, we let our dog run outside in our unfenced back yard. We do it every so often when there are no people around – especially children. Not that Roxy would attack any of them; she’d actually do the complete opposite (lick them for about 5 minutes straight), but as hyper and excited as Roxy can get sometimes, it is just better that no one is around. She knows when we are getting ready to go outside through the back door. As soon as we open the door just a little bit, she sticks her head in between the door and the frame, pushing it open with a force (I’m NOT lying!). She is ALWAYS the first one out the door and as soon as she gets out, she grabs her toy (that we always leave for her outside) and starts running in large circles (with her toy in her mouth, of course). I think if our dog were a human, she’d win all the sprint races! No kidding! She is too fast and she does not stop until she is completely out of breath (or her toy falls out of her mouth). It is so hilarious to watch her. Today, I snapped a few photos of her outside after her “race.” Excuse our little girl’s dirty mouth; we have nothing but sand in our back yard (we rent, so please don’t judge us :)).
